WATCH: Perrie Edwards Cries During Little Mix Show After Zayn Malik Split

Dumped Via Text?
Word has it that Zayn Malik broke up with Perrie Edwards over text.

Though she says she’s “good,” Perrie Edwards is still having a hard time dealing with her recent split with Zayn Malik.

While performing “The End,” a breakup song by her band Little Mix, on the Today Show this Wednesday (Aug. 19, 2015), the British songstress broke down into tears during the livea cappella set. Presumably overcome with emotions about the subject of the ballad, the 22-year-old stopped mid-way through her solo and started to cry.

“And I won’t be missing, missing you,” Edwards crooned as she started to choke up. “And no one can love you the way I used to do.”

Her bandmates — Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson — quickly flocked around her to offer their support, stopping the performance altogether in solidarity. Oh, the feels!

The girls later composed themselves and regrouped to perform a cover of Katy Perry’s “E.T.” and their new single, “Black Magic.”

Perrie and Malik, 22, started dating after the two competed on the U.K. version of The X Factor. The duo got engaged in 2013, but ended their relationship allegedly through text in July of this year following rumors that Malik had cheated when he was still touring with One Direction.

Malik has denied those allegations.
