Caitlyn Jenner Could Face Manslaughter Charges in Fatal Car Crash
Caitlyn Jenner could reportedly be facing jail time.
Back in February, Jenner was involved in a four-car accident that took one life and led to several hospitalizations. Now, more than six months later, the reality star could be charged with manslaughter.
The L.A. County Sheriff’s department has published a 161-page report detailing the incident, and according to TMZ, the report states that Jenner was traveling under the speed limit, but going too fast for road conditions.
As a result, she “set off a chain of events” that claimed the life of Kim Howe in February. Jenner was going north on the Pacific Coast Highway when her black Cadillac Escalade rear-ended Howe’s Lexus. Howe was then pushed into oncoming traffic and she was killed when her car was struck head-on by a Hummer.
So what does this mean for the 65-year-old? Her case will be presented to the D.A. next week for review, and if convicted, she could face a year in jail.
