But alas, some things are just too good to be true, and this bit is something purely a product of the rumor mill.
After a source revealed on Wednesday that they’ve been on dates but are taking things slow, this is what Jonas had to say:
“We’re not dating,” he said. “Kendall is great and naturally with her being good friends with Gigi and with Joe and Gigi dating, there are times we’ll be in the same place and we all hang out.”
As for any future romances, anyways, he wants to keep things “light and casual.” He recently split from longtime love Olivia Culpo, but he’s still “very much not in a relationship,” which he told Access Hollywood on Tuesday.
I’m trying to take the time to walk out this next phase of my life and be single the right way. I [also] like being able to work as hard as I want. I’m incredibly driven and with all the projects I have going on, they take up a lot of my time. I like to work hard and just be as focused on work as possible.
Jonas is currently promoting his new single, “Levels,” from his upcoming second album.
He’ll be performing it at the MTV Video Music Awards Pre-Show on August 30, during which he’ll also be debuting the song’s music video. His tour starts September 6 in Hershey, Penn.
