Calm down, people.

While the boys of One Direction are taking a hiatus next March after their upcoming fifth album, they insist that this isn’t a ploy to mask a subsequent breakup. (So you can stop crying into your Harry Styles pillowcase now.)

Following the bombshell news, Niall Horan took to Twitter on Monday (Aug. 24, 2015) to reassure fans that the boy band isn’t splitting up.

Louis Tomlinson, who is expecting his first child with friend Briana Jungwirth, also jumped in to make sure Directioners know they’re still a group.

One Direction lost its first member earlier this year when Zayn Malik announced that he was quitting the band because he wanted “to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight.”

Currently, the British four-piece consists of Styles, Horan, Tomlinson, and Liam Payne.
