Taylor Swift Teases ‘Wildest Dreams’ Music Video Premiere for the 2015 MTV VMAs
Giddy up. Taylor Swift has a new video on the way, stampeding in at full force.
The “1989” singer announced via social media that she will premiere the music video for “Wildest Dreams” at the 2015 MTV VMAs pre-show on Sunday August 30.
Though the video will not feature guest appearances from any current or ex-communicated #squad members, Matt LeBlanc, or Ryan Adams’ tears, Swift promises zebras, a seagull stuck in mid-flight, and a PDA sequence with Clint Eastwood’s son, Scott Eastwood, who portrays her love interest.
This music video will be the third Swift production to be directed by Joseph Kahn who previously worked on “Bad Blood” and “Blank Space“. After the big announcement, Kahn revealed to his followers that the project that he had been working on during vacation was much larger than just a “toothpaste commercial”.
The release of “Wildest Dreams” mirrors that of her “Bad Blood” award show premiere, which was dropped in a similar fashion at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards. The VMA pre-show begins at 8 p.m. EST on MTV.
