Iggy Azalea Responds to VMAs Performance Backlash: ‘I’m Very Relevant’

Iggy Azalea Wants to Hide
"Some days I want to crawl in my cave."

Iggy Azalea can’t do anything without getting backlash.

The rapper received tons of hate after she joined Demi Lovato on stage during her performance of “Cool for the Summer” at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.

In fact, the Internet trolls were out in force, completely bashing her appearance. One disappointed viewer wrote: “Leave it to iggy azalea to ruin a good performance #VMAs.” Another commented: “Oh god, and she brought out Iggy? I’m pretty sure Demi killed her career by association. #VMAs.

Obviously, Azalea didn’t take it lightly and decided to respond on Twitter.

Over the last few months, the 25-year-old has become the target of abusive messages. While we can’t pinpoint exactly when her career went south, we do know she went from the most promising crossover rap star of 2014 to complete laughing stock in under a year.
