Justin Bieber Actually Name-Dropped Selena Gomez in His ‘What Do You Mean?’ Music Video
#Jelena is very much alive — and here’s the proof.
Sharp-eyed Justin Bieber fans have noticed that the singer has given a shout-out to ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez in his new “What do You Mean?” music video. Taking the term “name-dropped” to a whole new level, Gomez’s name is actually seen graffitied on a wall to the words “hope,” “love,” and Bieber’s own initials in one of the scenes.
Is this Bieber’s subtle way of hinting that he wants to get back together for the umpteenth time?

Though it seems Bieber, 21, may still be carrying a torch for Gomez, 23, the feeling is apparently not mutual.
In a recent interview, Gomez expressed that she doesn’t want to be defined as Bieber’s ex anymore. According to the songstress, Jelena — the endearing term used by fans to describe the relationship between Bieber and Gomez — is totally over.
“It’s difficult for people to separate us,” she told The Sunday Times. “The internet wants to freeze this moment in time and constantly repeat it.”
“The next relationship will be something dear to me. There is no way I will ever hide my life,” she continued, adding that she doesn’t “really want anything right now.”
