WATCH: The ‘Scream Queens’ Opening Sequence Is a Funny, Crowded Mess

Fall TV Shows 2015
Find out when your fave shows will return and premiere for the very first time.

With just a few short weeks until the big Scream Queens series premiere, FOX has rolled out what you’ll be seeing before each episode: the opening credits.

While your brain wants you to believe this is a new music video from your favorite pop star, don’t let the length (nearly two minutes!) fool you. Each star’s name is presented in either bloody red (guys) or bubblegum pink (gals). The Red Devil lurks with his knife. Many, many screams are let out. Rinse and repeat.

Scream Queens, starring Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Skyler Samuels, Glen Powell, Diego Boneta, Abigail Breslin, and so many others, premieres on FOX on Sept. 22nd at 8 p.m. The show’s regular slot will be Wednesdays at 9 p.m.

Earlier this summer, creator Ryan Murphy told The Hollywood Reporter that the show won’t be kind to its star-studded cast.

“It’s similar to American Horror Story in that it’s anthological but different in that at the end of the first season there will only be four characters out of 25 left.”

Place your bets. And watch the Nick Jonas/Ariana Grande-less opening credits, below.
