Tom Brady’s Deflategate Suspension Tossed by Judge, Eligible to Play Season Opener

A federal judge tossed Tom Brady’s four-game suspension on Thursday, Sept. 3, making the NFL quarterback eligible to play the New England Patriots’ season opener.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell issued a four-game suspension in May, after a preliminary investigation report, commissioned by the NFL, claimed that Brady had knowledge of Pats staffers deflating footballs before the New England Patriots played the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship game this past January.
