Robert Pattinson and FKA twigs’ Wedding Is Reportedly ‘Off the Agenda’
Say it ain’t so!
Love is on the brink of death as word has it that Robert Pattinson and FKA twigs are close to ending their engagement. A source tells People that the couple’s wedding is “off the agenda,” but “they haven’t called off the engagement” just yet.
The publication reports that Pattinson, 29, and twigs, 27, have been distanced by their respective work for quite some time. Their one-year relationship is reportedly being put through the test as Pattinson continues to shoot The Lost City of Z in Ireland, while twigs remains at the actor’s house in Los Angeles.
“They’ve definitely drifted and have barely spoken while he’s in Belfast and she’s been in the States,” the source says, adding that “Rob has never been at ease with twigs’ entourage.”
The twosome, whose secret engagement was revealed by T-Pain in April, is said to be heading towards even more troubled times when Pattinson travels Colombia for work. According to the source, the filming, which will take place in October, “is bound to create further distance between them.”
Reports of the duo postponing their nuptials first surfaced in August when rumors about twigs’ indecision regarding wedding plans began to circulate.
“[FKA twigs] can’t decide what wedding she’d like to have,” an insider told People at the time. “She talks about keeping it as real and low-key and then wants an elaborate glamorous Baroque affair. She was even talking at one stage about having a masked ball.”
“It will now be bigger but how big? Nobody’s quite sure at this moment in time,” the source added. “There’s no fixed [wedding] date but will probably be late in the year… autumn at the earliest.”
