WATCH: Jared Fogle Once Mocked Pedophiles from ‘To Catch a Predator’
Ah, the irony.
In a newly resurfaced clip from the VH1 show, I Love the New Millennium, disgraced Subway spokesman Jared Fogle is seen making a mockery out of sexual predators who get caught on the NBC series To Catch a Predator. Fogle says to the camera over show footage, “These guys continue to fall for it every single time. There must be like a hundred million episodes of the show and these guys still come out.”
ICYMI: Fogle was charged for the possession and distribution of child pornography, as well as paying for sex with minors. CNN reported that he will plead guilty in the case that is being called a “five-year criminal scheme to exploit children”, facing anywhere between five and 12 1/2 years in prison. He will also pay $100K in restitution to the victims featured in his photographs and those of whom used for sex. Both Subway and his wife Katie Fogle have severed ties with the five-dollar felon, Katie filing for divorce in early August.
The (fat-free [probably not]) icing on top of it all is that VH1 failed to spell Fogle’s last name correctly on his title card in the retro clip.
It’s true that you get what you pay for.
