Fourteen years, fourteen ways to remember

Pete Davidson paid tribute on Friday to his late father, Scott Davidson, a New York firefighter who died on 9/11.

The Saturday Night Live star was only seven years old when his dad was killed in the Twin Tower’s collapse. To pay tribute, the comedian honored his father in the best way he know how. Davidson tweeted a photo of the pair along with a crude, but humorous joke:

He later followed it up with a post on Instagram, a collection of photos of the father-son duo, one of which shows a young Davidson wearing his father’s firefighter jacket:

“Can’t believe it’s been 14 years. Over 2/3 of my life without you. It feels like it was just yesterday. There’s not a day that goes by where I don’t think of you. You’re my hero. Can’t wait to see you again someday RIP dad 1/4/68-9/11/01 #neverforget,” he wrote.
