Eddie Redmayne Does Not Want to Screw Up J.K. Rowling’s Vision

Hell hath no fury like J.K. Rowling scorned.

Eddie Redmayne’s only trepidation about being in Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them is letting the famed Harry Potter  author down. He told reporters at the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of his film The Danish Girl, “The stakes are high because they were so good before. You don’t want to screw it up.”

Redmayne is riding high on critical acclaim for his role as a transgender woman in the 1920’s film written by Lucinda Coxon, but keeps his ego in check on the verge of shooting the Harry Potter prequel for Rowling.

“It’s a complete privilege for me,” he said. “I love J.K. Rowling. I love the Harry Potter films [and] books so for me this is just the most wondrous gift really.”

Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them is set to hit theaters on November 18, 2016.
