Zach Braff Is Sad About Really Mean ‘Garden State’ Article

Zach Braff did not take kindly to a Vice article published Monday that pointed out the obvious: the film Garden State — which Braff both directed and starred in — is a nauseatingly terrible movie, and the general public should be ashamed it was ever popular.

“Garden State was released 11 years ago, and in 2005, for a nation of coddled adult babies, it was the indie snoozefest that had been done to death several times already and would be done many more times as a result of its success and would likely star Zooey Deschanel and/or Michael Cera,” wrote Dan Ozzi in the article, which was published in honor of the film’s 10-year anniversary.
