King Kylie Jenner Has the #1 App in the Apple Store — Sorry Kim, Khloé and Kendall
King Kylie indeed.
Kylie Jenner is killin’ the tech game right now, with her new beauty/fashion/lyfe app at the top of the charts and far in the lead in comparison to those of her sisters’.
There’s just no competition, really. Kylie has one of the more, well, colorful personalities of all the sisters, and fans have been anxious for the release of her makeup tutorials for months, so it makes sense that she’s not only topping the charts but beating her sisters in terms of popularity.
TMZ reports the CEO of communly.com Alaxic Smith compiled some interesting data from the first 24 hours of the apps’ Monday release.
In terms of subscriber data, 891,340 people signed up for the four sites within the first 24 hours, and a staggering 74% of those people signed up for Kylie’s alone. A mere 11% signed up for Khloé’s, 9% Kim’s, and 6% signed up for Kendall’s.
TMZ does note that Smith can no longer continue analyzing data, as “Smith says the loophole that allowed him access to all the subscriber info has now been closed.”
But who needs data analysis when we’ve got the Kardashians delivering us all the news that we could ever need? Kylie herself posted about her app’s success on Instagram:
As we reported on Monday, each app is personalized, so Kylie’s reflects her prolific interest in beauty and makeup. She also shares videos and photos from her day to day that go inexplicably deeper than her incessant Instagram and Snapchat posts:
Take a look at how I celebrated my birthday. Today is all about turning 18 on The Kylie Jenner app & website. A video posted by King Kylie (@kyliejenner) on
Congratulations Kylie on being the Queen Kardashian.
Yesterday (Sept. 15), Kylie sat front row with Bella Thorne and Serayah at Vera Wang’s Spring 2016 show during New York Fashion Week at Cedar Lake. Wearing an all-black oversize suit and trouser ensemble, she looked super chic and sophisticated.
