Iggy Azalea Responds to T.I. Fallout

I-G-G-Bye
How did Iggy Azalea go from a promising rap star to a complete laughing stock?

The saga continues.

After mentor T.I. revealed that he had cut ties with Iggy Azalea following her feud with basically the entire hip-hop community rap legend Q-Tip, the “Fancy” hitmaker took to — where else? — Twitter to defend her position and clear the air about their supposed fallout.

Clearly ignoring her previous vow to stay off social media, Azalea wrote:

In a radio interview on Wednesday (Sept. 16, 2015), T.I. said that his breaking point was when Azalea started lashing out at the hip-hop community when it called her out on misappropriating black culture. At the time, T.I. even expressed that Azalea should essentially shut up and “focus on what got her here.” (Spoiler alert: she didn’t take his advice.)

“In her defense, she had a lot thrown at her at one time,” T.I. said. “Any human being anywhere [is gonna] have a hard time adjusting… It came at a time when culturally in this nation — when she’s not from here — we were actually looking for a source to place that pent-up aggression. Some stuff they brought upon themselves. In some cases, it kind of was the easiest place to put some pent-up aggression.”

A source also told TMZ that Azalea, 25, and T.I., 34, had a mutual parting in 2013 when the former signed with Island Def Jam. According to the publication, the two are “still on amicable terms” and T.I. gets a cut of Azalea’s pay for discovering her.

In essence, T.I. said I-G-G-Bye to I-G-G-Y.
