Makeup-Free Monday: Whitney Port and 148 More Celebs Go All Natural
And anyways, girlfriend looks sans makeup.
Hi guys. So I don’t want to come off as preachy AT ALL! But lately, when I post a pic of myself without makeup on @instagram, people hate- telling me I look dead or anemic or whatever! Over it! I struggled with my skin A LOT growing up. I had terrible acne throughout high school and college and finally got it under control in my mid 20’s. I’ve learned that keeping it healthy and clear is mostly due to keeping it clean.
A skincare aficionado, she added her two cents on inner beauty and clean skin.
I TRULY think the key to inner and outer beauty isn’t about all the things we can buy to cover up our skin but how we can embrace our skin and keep it healthy. Clean skin is in. The more I keep it clean, the better condition it’s in. And when you do decide to put a little makeup on ( I mean, we all do 😊 ) our skin is a pure foundation for it to live on!
Obviously, we’re in full support of Port and embracing our fresh-faced skin, too.
So goodbye haters! I’m gonna embrace my bare, colorless, pale and ghostly skin because I don’t need to hide behind anything. I urge all you out there to not be afraid of showing that beautiful, bare face of yours to the world. Join me and tag all your clean skin selfies using the hashtag #OurCleanSkinIsIn Let’s do this!!!
Will you hashtag #OurCleanSkin with Port?
On Wednesday (Sept 16), the 30-year-old blogger posted about her morning beauty routine with yet another gorgeous makeup free selfie.
Morning!!! (I’m not as upset as I look in the photo 😜 ). After yesterday’s post, I got a lot of questions about my skin routine so I thought I’d fill y’all in! Check out www.WHITNEYPORT.com (link in bio) to read through my morning and evening skin routine. It’s really not that involved! If you have any questions, let me know and keep on tagging with me #OurCleanSkinIsIn #nofilter
Taking care of my skin has always played an important role in my daily routine, especially since I’ve never been a huge makeup person. Over time I’ve developed morning and evening beauty routines that have become engrained in my day-to-day life. Each has evolved over time based on experimentation with different products and discovering what does and doesn’t work for me. Right now I’m loving the combination of products I’m using. It truly has been working wonders for me! If you’re on the lookout for a new skincare regimen, I’d definitely recommend giving mine a shot.
