Dunkin Donuts Will Start Offering Delivery
Dunkin Donuts has plans to roll out a delivery service for its customers, according to a rep for the coffee chain. Delish reports that the company announced the game-changer during a recent media summit at its headquarters in Canton, Mass.
At the conference, Dunkin Donuts told press that the delivery system will be a part of its forthcoming mobile app update, which will allow users to order food and drinks for curbside and in-store pickup as well as home delivery to cut down wait times at its locations.
The new version of the app is set to launch in 2016. According to the rep, DD Perks members in one to-be-determined market will be the first to test out the new system. Delivery will then be expanded to all DD Perks members across the U.S.
Like with Taco Bell’s recent partnership with DoorDash, Dunkin Donuts will rely on a third party to carry out the physical delivery service. The word is still out on fees.
Basically, you’ll never have to get out of bed for breakfast again!
