Michael B. Jordan Talks Kendall Jenner Dating Rumors
In the October 2015 issue of GQ, in which he covers the magazine with Ryan Reynolds and Rob Lowe, the Fantastic Four star opens up about the famous model. Though the two were rumored to be romantically linked when they were seen partying together after the Mat Gala, Jordan, 28, insists his relationship with Jenner, 19, is strictly platonic.
“Kendall’s a friend of mine, you know. I don’t know her, like, that well, but I know her enough,” he explains. “People’s perspective on that is what it is. I don’t fucking know. I don’t live my life to make other people happy.”
Jordan also adds that fans shouldn’t believe everything they read, saying about the dating rumors, “It’s so weird, though, right? A lot of black fans were feeling like ‘Oh, my god, he should have been with a black woman’ and that whole thing.”
For Jordan, he prefers to focus on his professional career. Admitting that work has often gotten in the way of his personal life, the New Jersey native say he’ll start to think about settling down when he hits the big 3-0.
“I told myself at a young age that I would sacrifice all my twenties to my work. I’m 28. I’ve got a year and a half left,” he tells the publication. “I understand what females want and need, you know. I’m good at that. I don’t know if I’m the guy to give it to them right now. I’m emotionally unavailable. Until I find something that’s so undeniable that I can’t help myself.”
“The females, they’ll always be there,” he continues. “Like honestly, bro, oh my God. Female-wise now? I ai’’t got to do too much work. And it’s weird, because I’m the same guy. I haven’t fucking changed, right? I haven’t done anything different.”
