Trevor Noah’s First ‘Daily Show’ Guests Announced

Same, but different.

In just five days, curious and supporting viewers will tune into a new season of The Daily Show as Trevor Noah sits in the big char to host his very first season. On Wednesday, Comedy Central teased the show’s premiere week by announcing its first four guests:

Kevin Hart will kick things off on Monday (Sept. 28) while Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe will hopefully give some good ‘ol dating app advice for the ladies the following day. Presidential hopeful, Governor Chris Christie will surely spice things up mid-week before Noah’s first week wraps with melancholic bliss from Ryan Adams. Let’s hope Adams’ performance of choice will be from the 1989 files…

In a new interview with The New York Times, Noah, 31, says his Daily Show predecessor Jon Stewart has given him advice that’s both “simple” and “very difficult to decipher.”

“He’s like a Jewish Yoda. He said to me: ‘Make the best show that you feel needs to be made. And trust your discomfort.’ The most amazing thing that Jon did was he didn’t give me a mandate.”

The Daily Show with Trevor Noah premieres on Monday, Sept. 28 at 11 p.m. EST on Comedy Central.
