Fetty Wap Issued Three Summonses Following Motorcycle Accident
Fetty Wap has some hefty fines coming his way.
The “My Way” rapper who was involved in a serious motorcycle collision on Saturday, Sept. 26 is facing three summonses while en route to recovery. New York Daily News reports that Willie Maxwell (Fetty Wap’s real name) has been cited by New Jersey police for driving without a license, lacking insurance, and failing to produce a vehicle registration card following the accident.
Maxwell posted an update for his fans on Sunday evening on Instagram, appearing in good spirits despite nursing a leg that is broken in three places.
The incident occurred in Patterson, New Jersey one day after the artist released his self-titled debut album. Maxwell was scheduled to begin a national tour on Tuesday, Sept. 29, though it has not been confirmed at the time of this article’s publication whether or not the rapper will reschedule concert dates.
The other driver involved in the accident was also injured and treated in a hospital. Updates on her condition have yet to be released.
