Kim Kardashian Talks Yeezy 2020 Announcement: ‘That Was News to Me’
“I believe he is serious and I know that… if he puts his mind to something he’ll do his best. And he will,” Kim tells Ellen DeGeneres on an episode of Ellen airing Wednesday (Sept. 30).
“It’s been fascinating just hearing all of the conversations that have gone on since that announcement.”
If Kanye West ever does find himself as Commander-in-Chief, he might have to be a little more transparent with his wifey dearest. Turns out, Kim was just as surprised as you were when Yeezy made his announcement at the VMAs.
“That was news to me… that wasn’t a discussion in our household,” according to the 34-year-old reality TV queen.
“It was Father’s Day. And I called and I said, ‘Are you really inviting us over for Father’s Day? Are you expecting a gift? You’re not double dipping here. Are you Mother’s Day or Father’s Day? You get one gift.’”
As for that second baby, Kim says while she hasn’t settled on a name for her son, there is one name she’s warmed up to.
“I do like the name Easton. I don’t think my husband likes that name, but I do like it. I don’t think we’ll go another direction.”
Kim is reportedly due in December. Watch her full interview on Ellen today. For now, enjoy this clip of Kim playing “Never Have I Ever: Famous Moms Edition” with Black-ish actress Tracee Ellis Ross.
