Kris Jenner, Khloé Kardashian Dodge Firework Misdemeanor

Pop, boom, fizzle.

Kris Jenner and Khloé Kardashian have a reason to celebrate (sans pyrotechnics) now that the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department passed on pressing criminal charges for a fireworks display set off on a yacht in the middle of the night for James Harden’s birthday party.

TMZ reports that the Coast Guard informed the Sheriff prior to the Aug. 26th banger that Jenner’s production company would be setting off fireworks. The family was told that they would not need a permit since the boat was outside of the marina. Angry local residents still pushed for a justice against the Kardashians, and thus, the Sheriff’s Department recommended a misdemeanor charge of disturbing the peace to the L.A. County District’s attorney.

The D.A. passed on the claims since Jenner had received “passive permission”, though a group of perturbed neighbors are allegedly planning on filing a small claims lawsuit anyway.
