Kate Winslet Turns 40 With a Gift From Michael Fassbender

Kate Winslet and Michael Fassbender
These two give Good Face at 'Steve Jobs' premiere for the New York Film Festival.

A famous actress like Kate Winslet who seems to have it all is probably one of the hardest people to shop for—that is, unless you’re Michael Fassbender.

The twosome, who star in the Steve Jobs biopic written by Aaron Sorkin and directed by Danny Boyle, have been making the rounds to promote the film’s premiere around the world.

Before Winslet’s October 5th birthday, on which she celebrated turning forty, Fassbender overheard her say that she wanted a pressure cooker for a present.

True to his word, Fassbender made sure to follow through with the gesture. Kate told E! News that the gift arrived in the mail right on time:

[I]t was this huge box and I was like, ‘What the heck is going on?’Then I see on the side of it, it says Tefal. I was like, ‘Ah, Tefal,’ and then I opened it. . . . He’s a good boy. He got me the pressure cooker.

Just add good gifts to the list of reasons why it’s desirable to be friends with Michael Fassbender.
