‘Law & Order: SVU’ Will Take on the Duggar’s Scandal This Season

We knew this was bound to happen.

The Duggar family of 19 Kids and Counting had quite a scandalous summer, and now their story will be featured in an upcoming episode of Law & Order: SVU.

According to People, the episode, called “Patrimonial Burden,” features the SVU team investigating “an unraveling web of secrets when the virtuous 13 year-old daughter of a famous reality TV family discovers she’s pregnant.”

In real life, oldest Duggar son Josh not only admitted that he molested young girls when he was a teenager, but he was also recently outed during the Ashley Madison leak.

Peter Scanavino, who plays Detective Carisi on the show, spoke to E! News about this particular episode, and had some strong words about the family:

With the Duggar one, it was like the double-whammy because it was his sisters and the fact—I mean, honestly, I feel like we’re dealing with some topics this season that feel a bit meatier than some lunatic fringe family…I wouldn’t mind doing one just because I have never been so infuriated with someone’s level of hypocrisy, and lying, and then displacement of responsibility onto something else. When I think about that guy, it boils my blood, I will say.

The episode airs Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 9 p.m. on NBC.
