Contrary to false reports, Caitlyn Jenner is not at Lamar's bedside.

Things are looking up for Lamar Odom.

UPDATE 1:10 PM PT: E! News reports that Odom is out of his coma and has spoken to Khloé Kardashian. The publication claims he opened his eyes, said “Hey, baby,” and gave her the thumbs up before going back to sleep. TMZ is saying that Odom is being weaned life support.

The basketball player has “opened his eyes” as he continues to seek treatment at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, according to Entertainment Tonight. A source tells the publication that Odom, 35, has made communication, replying “Yes” when asked if he would like to see his kids. It remains unclear of how he conveyed his response.

However, TMZ is reporting that Odom’s body movement — including eye function — is involuntary.

Recent reports say that the former NBA star’s heart is doing “much better,” which is an indication of improvement given that one of his vital organs is responding. At this time, doctors are asking for limited visitor access.

Odom’s estranged wife Khloé Kardashian, father Joe Odom, his two kids Destiny Odom and Lamar Odom Jr. and their mother Liz Morales are in town to be by his side.

Kardashian has asked Dennis Hof, the owner of the brothel at which Odom was found unconscious earlier this week, to refrain from speaking with the media of respect for the delicate situation. In response, Hof has told Kardashian to “go to hell.”

As previously reported, Odom was discovered unresponsive at the Love Ranch South in Pahrump, Nev. on Tuesday, Oct. 13 as a result of overdosing on a combination of an herbal Viagra named Reload and possibly cocaine. Traces of opiates were found in his system.
