Beyoncé Would Be Beyoncé for Halloween

But not “Single Ladies” Beyoncé. That would be basic.

Beyoncé Knowles sneezed all over Beat Magazine in her first print interview since 2013, all while holding a chicken. She exudes Americana in a Hamptons cover shoot by photographer Ryan McGinley, revealing that fear tastes like success.

“I have accomplished nothing without a little taste of fear in my mouth.”

Despite her death grip on pop culture, Knowles is just like us mere mortals. She sings sings gospel music in the shower, has Fetty Wap stuck in her head, and likes her pizza with a kick. When the mag asked Bey which version of Bey she would be for Halloween, she responded:

“Destiny’s Child Survivor era with the army fatigues. Or maybe Bootylicious with the gold tooth and pink tips in my hair.”

Pick up a copy of Beyoncé’s issue of Beat Magazine when it hits newsstands on Oct. 21 to read interview in its entirety.
