Khloe Kardashian Speaks Out on Lamar Odom’s Hospitalization for the First Time

Khloé Kardashian is very thankful for the doctors and nurses who cared for Lamar Odom at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas.

Kardashian, whose divorce from Odom has yet to be finalized, is speaking out for the first time since her estranged husband was found unconscious from a drug overdose in a Nevada brothel last week.

The 31-year-old penned a note to fans on her website:

The past week has been incredibly difficult. I am so thankful to family, friends and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar. I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work. Under their amazing care, incredible strides have been made. You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure.

Thank you for your continued support. God is great!!! XOXO, Khloé

Khloé and the Kardashians immediately rushed to his side, and she also flew out his children and ex to be by his bedside. She continues to be by his side, reportedly accompanying him during his transfer from Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles last night.

While the 35-year-old basketball player’s health has improved since awaking from his coma on Friday, he still remains in critical condition and is reportedly suffering from kidney failure, which may result in him needing a kidney transplant.

In light of Lamar’s overdose and hospitalization, Khloé has allegedly put her relationship with NBA star James Harden on hold. More details on that here.
