One Direction Cancels Concert After Liam Payne Falls Ill
It’s not a good day for Directioners.
One Direction pulled out from their show in Belfast, Ireland just minutes before they were set to take the stage on Tuesday (Oct. 20, 2015). Thousands of fans inside the arena were hit with last minute cancellation news after one of the British boy band’s four members, Liam Payne, got sick and was unable to perform.
Needless to say, many Directioners were hurt — as seen in the video below. (Seriously, you can pin-point the moment their hearts simultaneously broke.)

“Unfortunately, the show tonight has been cancelled as Liam has been taken ill and while it’s not serious, he is unable to perform tonight,” a rep said onstage.

Though rumors were circulating that Payne, 22, had been hospitalized, The Sun’s Dan Wootton reported that this was not the case.
