It’s okay—we could never not forgive you.
UPDATE 11:45: Adele’s new single is speculated to premiere on BBC Radio 1 on Friday, Oct. 30 as hinted by The Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw.
She opens up about the regrets of her younger years, chasing what lay ahead in the future instead of enjoying the present moment, and promises that 25 will be a “make-up record” that reconciles the “junk” of her past.
Fans went wild over this 30-second teaser of a new track that aired during Sunday’s broadcast of The X Factor on Oct. 18.

The BBC reports that recording sessions for 25 have played out sporadically since the birth of the singer’s first child, Angelo, in October 2012 with collaborating producers to include One Republic’s Ryan Tedder and Swedish hitmaker Max Martin.
So, simmer down, Clarkson—Adele is on her way back because, you know, life happened.
