Dream Oscar Hosts
Here's our wishlist.

Chris Rock’s date with Oscar is now set in stone.

On Wednesday, producers of the 88th Academy Awards announced that the 50-year-old comedian will host the big show in February. Rock’s appointment is his second with the Oscars.

Want to feel old? When the funnyman hosted for the first time, in 2005, Million Dollar Baby took home the top prize for Best Picture and Hilary Swank was named Best Actress. Remember Million Dollar Baby?

“I’m so glad to be hosting the Oscars,” Rock said in a statement. “It’s great to be back.” [via Variety]

The comedy giant also took to Twitter to celebrate the news:

The 88th Academy Awards will be handed out live from Los Angeles on Feb. 28, 2016.
