John Travolta is back for an exciting new role.

Sure it may be a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it, 16-second sneak peek, but that’s all we need to get excited about the new FX series. American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson doesn’t debut until February, but we’ve gotten our first look at John Travolta as Robert Shapiro in the new television drama.

Shapiro was one of O.J. Simpson’s defense attorneys in his 1995 murder trail for which he was acquitted.

“Anytime that I take on a new criminal case, I always ask the client a question. Now, I won’t be judgmental,” Travolta says in the clip.

He’s talking to Cuba Gooding Jr., who plays Simpson in the upcoming series.

Other actors starring in the show include David Schwimmer as Robert KardashianSelma Blair as Kris Jenner and more.

“It’s a minutia of watching tapes and reading interviews and watching video,” Cuba told Variety about preparing to play O.J. “Usually, when you prepare for a role, you can spend weeks or months and then when you do it, you’re pretty much in it. But this is like, everyday, they’re like, ‘Oh, [he] did a workout video.’ Everyday there’s something.”
