Dog Owner Sues Khloé Kardashian for Disturbance from James Harden’s Birthday Party Fireworks

Khloé Kardashian has things to worry about other than Lamar Odom’s hospitalization and rehabilitation, and calling off their divorce.

She is being sued by a Marina Del Rey dog owner for setting off disturbing fireworks at her now-ex-boyfriend James Harden’s 26th birthday party.

TMZ reports that a dog living nearby the festivities, which took place on a docked yacht on Aug. 26, is so rattled by the fireworks that his owner, James Ferguson, is suing on his/her behalf.  Ferguson filed a $7,500 lawsuit (the maximum amount allowed) in a small claims court, claiming the explosions were “a disturbance that harmed our family and pet.”

The extent of the pup’s emotional distress as well as the specific ways in which the pup is no longer the same as a result of the fireworks is not known.

As for the specifics, Gossipcop notes that lawyers aren’t permitted in small claims court, meaning Kardashian must show up herself, unless the matter is settled privately. However, if Khloé doesn’t show face, Ferguson could win judgement by default.

Back in August we originally reported that Kardashian’s midnight disturbance upset the many sleeping locals (including Rebecca Black and Josh Gad), and that despite complaints the fireworks were illegal, she had in fact obtained a permit to set them off.

Kardashian and Harden are no longer together, made obvious by the fact that yesterday it was announced she and Odom were giving their marriage a second go in light of his Oct. 13 overdose and health repercussions. Apparently, Odom has sworn not to do drugs ever again, and that’s why Kardashian took him back.

As for Harden, the newly-single NBA player looks like he’s doing alright. He posted a video of him singing and dancing to Future yesterday after Khloé and Lamar’s marriage news broke:

Caught the 🏄🏼🏄🏼 @future
