Have a nice trip. See you next fall.
Jimmy Fallon and his hands found themselves back in the hospital on Saturday night in Cambridge, Massachusetts when The Tonight Show host took a tumble upon receiving The Harvard Lampoon‘s Emler Award for excellence in humor. After parading through Harvard Square and receiving accolades of a medallion, a faux diploma, and a check for less than a dollar, People reports that “some random girl kneeled down in front of [Fallon] abruptly as he was turning around and he tripped over her because he didn’t see her.”
Fallon allegedly fell with a bottle of Jägermeister in hand.
The evening’s “Emperor of Comedy” was brought to Massachusetts General Hospital where he was bandaged and released to return to his celebration.

Fallon injured his other hand in July when he fell in his New York apartment and caught his wedding ring on the edge of a table. His finger was saved in a six-hour surgery with the help of a vein from his foot. Ironically enough, the SNL alum also recently collaborated with a retailer to design a line of sports apparel called “Hands High“, which features the team’s sports logo under the armpit for optimal visibility during cheering and bro hugs.
