Taylor Swift Meets Young Fan Battling Rare Cancer

She’s got a big heart.

Taylor Swift met a very special fan during her 1989 World Tour stop in Atlanta on Sunday (Oct. 25). Six-year-old Taylor Rayburn, who is battling a rare form of kidney cancer, came to see Taylor perform and what happened next was pretty unforgettable.

Taylor and her mother saw Swift’s mom, Andrea, in the crowd, and went up to her to say hello. That’s when Andrea decided to take Taylor to a special roped-off area where she could watch the concert from a director’s chair, according to E! News.

After the concert was over, Swift’s mom (who is also battling cancer) then took little Taylor backstage to meet the singer herself. Rayburn’s mother, who decided to start a fan page for her daughter called Project Team Taylor, shared a photo of the two on Facebook along with a heartfelt message, writing, “Thanks Ms. Andrea, dreams really do come true!!!!”

Since Taylor spent her birthday in the hospital we surprised her this weekend with a trip to Atlanta and Taylor Swift…

Taylor, herself, commemorated the moment on Twitter with a montage of photos from the night, writing “I love you, Atlanta.”
