Here’s What Kelly Rowland Has to Say About a Destiny’s Child Reunion
It would be a dream come true if the greatest ’90s R&B girl group, Destiny’s Child, were to reunite and go on a reunion tour.
Unfortunately, that is a pipe dream.
Here’s what she said to Us Weekly:
It hasn’t been something that we’ve talked about at all. We’ve just been enjoying each other, whether it’s been about our music, whether it’s been about motherhood or our personal lives. That’s what it’s really been about. That’s been the most beautiful part.
Rowland added, “We absolutely are [family]. We love each other.”
Rowland, Bey and Michelle Williams were in Destiny’s Child for 16 years and each pursued solo careers after dissembling the band in 2006. However, they do perform together once in a blue moon. Most recently in March, they came together to sing at the 30th Annual Stellar Awards in Las Vegas. Prior to that, Rowland and Williams joined Beyoncé on stage for her 2013 Super Bowl halftime show performance.
