Bobbi Kristina Brown Was Preparing to Go to Rehab Before Accidental Drowning

Bobbi Kristina Brown was planning on seaking treatment in rehab before she was unfortunately found unresponsive in her bathtub in late January.

According to her aunt Pat Houston, “I decided she was going to rehab because that’s where we had called to set up for her to go,” she told People.

“She didn’t make it,” Houston added. “She found out that I was coming for her, not to do an intervention, because I didn’t want to go through that with her. I just wanted her to come back and talk to me so we could figure out how this was going to take place because she needed to go.”

In addition, Houston told People she and Bobbi Kristina texted a couple days before, promising that they would talk about it. She recalled, “That was the last time I heard from her and that I believe was either on a Wednesday or Thursday.”

When Pat got the call about the 21-year-old, she explained, “I can’t even begin to tell you how I was feeling and what I was feeling and still feeling. I didn’t know, I didn’t know about the hard drugs, the cocaine. I didn’t know about the coke or the heroin but when I did find out, you know, I addressed it immediately. But, unfortunately, she never made it.”

Bobbi Kristina, the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, sadly passed away on July 26, six months after she was found in her bathtub on Saturday, Jan. 31 by her boyfriend Nick Gordon.

Since her passing, more details about her condition and hard drug use have emerged, while Gordon has been hit with a $10 million lawsuit, claiming her took money from her, was physically and emotionally abusive, and gave her a “toxic cocktail.”
