Blake Lively’s Bikini Body Is Already Back (And It’s Better Than Ever)

To no one’s surprise, Blake Lively has had no problem going back to her pre-baby figure since giving birth to her daughter with Ryan Reynolds some 10 months ago. Now, Blake and her bod are all the rage Down Under thanks to the actress’ latest project.

Last week, the 28-year-old actress was spotted on the beaches of Australia filming scenes for her new shark thriller (!) The Shallows. Blake let her hair down as she delivered scenes in a mismatched yellow bikini top and blue, red and white bottom.

As Blake has said before, she thinks it’s “silly” to feel pressured to lose all that baby weight and that she was not a big fan of the gym.

“This is way beyond having her just look great in a bikini,” according to Blake’s trainer Don Saladino, who recently opened up to People about his client’s regimen.

“That’s important, but it’s about keeping her energy level high and making sure that, day in and day out when she’s shooting this film, her recovery is optimal.”

Saladino says Blake had two months to prepare for the film shoot and as a result, he increased her workouts to five or six times a week (from the previous once or twice weekly routine).

“I told her to listen to her body. When you feel great, get on it. When you don’t feel great, shift down a gear.”

On the food front, Blake’s trainer keeps it simple and small: four well balanced meals a day (protein, a vegetable and a slow-burning carb).

Saladino hopes Blake’s routine can serve as an example for any new mom out there.

“She’s got to get in, hit it and get out. She’s not doing these triple session workouts. It should encourage people: Here’s a woman who had a baby in December, and she’s got her bikini body back already. That’s pretty spectacular.”
