Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton Are Holding Hands, Writing Music Together
Just a day after confirming that they’re indeed an item, word has spread that The Voice coaches are working on music together. According to People, Stefani, 46, and Shelton, 39, have teamed up to write and record a country ballad.
“It’s amazing how good she sounds on a pretty country song,” an industry source tells the publication. “And it sure is good to hear Blake singing real country again.”
The music news comes hot on the heels of newly released photos of the two holding hands in Nashville.
As previously reported, the singers have been dodging romance rumors ever since they split from their respective spouses earlier this year. The two continued to fuel speculations when they were seen getting cozy at pal Adam Levine’s Halloween party over the weekend. They were also seen traveling to Shelton’s home state of Oklahoma weeks ago.
On Wednesday, Stefani’s rep confirmed that the No Doubt frontwoman is romantically involved with Shelton, saying, “Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating.”
Recent reports also claim that Miranda Lambert, who parted ways with Shelton in July after four years of marriage, “was not surprised to hear of the romance between Blake and Gwen.”
“Miranda and Blake were on the rocks on and off and knew that this could always be a possibility,” an insider tells E! News. “She has nothing against Gwen and thinks she is a very talented artist. Whomever Blake is with she wishes them the best.”
