Gisele Bundchen Says She and Tom Brady Have ‘Been Through a Few Tough Times Together’
She’s the highest paid super model in the world. He’s a Super Bowl-winning NFL quarterback.
Gisele talked to Charlie Rose on CBS This Morning about her life these days. “I think we’ve been through a few tough times together,” she said when asked about recent events, including the deflate-gate scandal.
“I think that’s when you know who your friends are, and who loves you. My father always says, ‘The quality of your life depends on the quality of your relationships,’ and I think no matter how challenging it was, we’ve always been supportive of one another, and I think that’s the most important thing you can have in life: a support system and love.”
Gisele also talked about her decision to retire from the runway, saying, “When you have no definition, anything is possible. Miracles happen that way. Magic happens that way.”
“I’m so grateful to be where I am right now because I feel fulfilled. I feel like I gave it a lot of energy and dedication and focus to that. I think 20 years is like, more than half my life, that I feel is long enough… There are still some things I am going to be doing, but it’s not my focus by any means,” she said.
Bundchen recently released her own ($700) coffee table book with photos documenting her rise to fame. The book sold out the day it was released.
