Khloé Kardashian Still Has ‘A Great Deal of Love’ for Lamar Odom
“My biggest wish is for him to be happy,” she tells the magazine.
“I still have a great deal of love for him. That doesn’t mean I have to be by his side all the time.”
“Our family brings a different amount of — not fame — attention. Instead of just being known for his talent, he’s now known for being someone’s boyfriend. We’re used to it, but for a person new to this, I’m like, ‘Oh, God. I’m sorry.’”
Lamar, who just turned 36 last week, was hospitalized in Nevada in mid-October after being found unconscious at a brothel. He was transferred to a Los Angeles hospital after spending four days in a coma.
“[He’s doing better every day for sure — which is a blessing — but it’s going to be a long road. And he has to walk that road. He has to walk that road, it’s going to be a long time.”
According to the 31-year-old reality TV star, she’s been updating Lamar on things from the outside world as much as she can.
“He doesn’t have social media. He doesn’t have his cell phone, he doesn’t watch the news or anything like that, so he is aware from what I tell him or the messages that I give him — all positive and filtered things of course.”
Khloe also said that she’s “still married for a multitude of reasons. But intimacy is not one of them.”
