REPORT: Rihanna is Launching Her Own Marijuana Line Called ‘MaRihanna’
While the world patiently awaits Rihanna’s upcoming album Anti, she may have been working on something else in the mean time.
According to a report by 18KaratReggae.com, Riri is getting into the marijuana business. Hot on the heels of Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson, the report claims the singer is coming out with her own line, appropriately dubbed “MaRihanna.”
Rihanna supposedly announced the news herself while attending the Cannabis Cup in Negril, Jamaica. “MaRihanna by Rihanna is truly the first mainstream cannabis brand in the world and proud to be a pioneer,” she said. “MaRihanna is blazing a trail for the industry.”
The report goes on to claim Rihanna’s line will include Karibbean Kush, Haitian Haze and Jamaican High Grade, as well as edibles and concentrates, for those who were wondering.
If you’ve been over on Rihanna’s Instagram, you’ll know the 27-year-old is a marijuana fan, so getting into the marijuana business isn’t a huge surprise. But we can’t help but wish Rihanna would put down the blunt and roll out her new album Anti first.
Fans have been itching for some new music since Riri attended her album title and cover art unveiling at the Mama Gallery in Los Angeles.
Rihanna has already released three singles from the upcoming album including “FourFiveSeconds,” “Bitch Better Have My Money” and “American Oxygen.”
