Kim Kardashian is changing her due date from one holiday to another.
The pregnant Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was supposed to give birth to her second child, a son, around the December holiday, but is now planning on inducing labor around Thanksgiving for health reasons.
According to Us Weekly, “Kim’s doctors want to get the baby out early because of her medical history.”
Since then, she struggled to get pregnant a second time and is now once again at risk for pre-eclampsia, and is possibly suffering from gestational diabetes. Earlier this week it was revealed that her delivery is considered “high risk.” She told E! news, “Every medical issue that you could probably have I feel like I get and I worry so much about it.”
In addition, in a blog post entitled “High-Risk Pregnancy” on her site, Kim wrote:
However, with the issues I had last time, my risk of having preclampsia and placenta acreeta are increased and there’s not a whole lot I can do to prevent it, so my anxiety is a little high leading up to my delivery. In a very rare case, I might need a hysterectomy after delivery if my condition is severe enough, but luckily my doctor doesn’t think this will happen. So as time goes on, I am stressing out less and trying to go with the flow.
Kim has expressed her discomfort about pregnancy on different occasions. She recently revealed that she gained 52 pounds, and that her second pregnancy has been the “worst experience” of her life.
