Wu-Tang Clan Sells Single-Release of ‘Once Upon a Time in Shaolin’ for Millions
Iconic NYC rap group, The Wu-Tang Clan, has reportedly sold their newest album as a single release to a “private American collector” for an amount that is allegedly in the seven figures.
The two-disc release was sold for a figure numbered in the millions to an unknown party in May of this year, but the contracts needed to finalize the sale will likely take months to complete.
This sale marks the most expensive sale of a single alum. Previously, the most expensive purchase was $300,000 paid by Jack White for an acetate recording of Elvis Presley’s first song.
