Kylie Jenner Wants to ‘Go off the Map’ to Raise Chickens When She Grows Up
She might have to ditch the leather first.
As if Kylie Jenner didn’t already conquer the world this week with her sold-out Kylie Jenner Lip Kit, she’s taking no prisoners in a dominatrix-inspired feature story with Interview magazine. Jenner, the “black sheep” of the Kardashian sorority, opens up about self-exploration through her rapidly changing looks and shares her plans on how to harness her mammoth social influence in the future.
She says that she isn’t who she appears to be in her mesmerising Snapchat stories of Calabasas. “That’s totally not me,” laughs Jenner. I’m way flashier on Instagram and Snapchat, because I feel like that’s what people want to see and that’s what I’ve always done, so I’m not going to stop. People want to see my cars and my purses … But that’s so not me.”
Instead, she’s an 18-year-old girl who finds happiness in her dogs and sunsets who gets bored with materialistic things after a week when the thrill wears off. In fact, Jenner wishes to become a successful business woman when she’s older and then make a break from the limelight.
“When I’m, like, 30, I want to go off the map, have a family, and live in Malibu with a farm, and just raise my own chickens.”
But for now, she just wants to learn how to garden in the new year of 2016.
She looks up to Lady Gaga who approached her at an Alexander Wang fashion show after-party to motivate her in her journey. “I just try not to change and stay authentic,” says Jenner of her public image. “I do feel pressure when I do sexy photo shoots and stuff, or if I want to post a picture … Because I want to be a good role model, but I also want to be me.”
