WATCH: Carrie Underwood and James Corden Let Jesus Take the Wheel in Carpool Karaoke

Between his renditions of “Jesus, Take the Wheel” and “Before He Cheats,” we’re thinking James Corden should try his luck at being a country star.

The Late Late Show host put Carrie Underwood in the passenger seat of his car in his latest installment of “Carpool Karaoke,” where they duetted the country star’s hit songs, discussed her hockey player hubby Mike Fisher, and shopped for classic country duds like cowboy boots (and more).

Corden, clad in boots, a cowboy hat and leather vest gave People’s Sexiest Man Alive David Beckham a run for his money. Until, that is, he learned the pricey pice tag of his ensemble: about $10,000 plus.

“That’s nothing. Come on! It’s an investment,” Underwood insisted.

Corden retorted, “What do you think I am, Rockefeller?…I’m sorry, we’re not all multi-platinum recording artists. We haven’t all had four Billboard No. 1s! Some of us are on CBS at 12:30.”

Meanwhile, Underwood’s vocals during their duets were so on point, prompting Corden to ask her, “Is it true that you can hold a note for an inordinately long time?”

Watch Corden go country and duet with Underwood in the video above!
