Gwyneth Paltrow Says Goop Heist Was ‘Good Publicity’

Talk about zen.

Blythe Danner, Gwyneth Paltrow’s mom, told Page Six on Thursday (Dec. 10, 2015) that Paltrow is looking on the bright side of the robbery that gutted her New York City Goop store of nearly $200,000 worth of merchandise.

“I called [Paltrow] immediately,” says Danner. “And she said, ‘Oh, Mom, it’s OK. It’s good publicity.”

Danner reveals that they do not have any leads in the case quite yet, but Paltrow remains optimistic.

“She always has a good spin on things, and I admire her tenacity and her upbeat message.”

Danner told Us Weekly that their family will try to be together for the holidays given that Paltrow shares her children Apple and Moses with Chris Martin, and calls her daughter “a phenomenal cook”.

“She just loves [cooking],” says Danner. “But she’s also just so great at it. Everything is so gorgeous you almost don’t want to eat it! But you do, because it’s delicious, and usually really healthy too. She’s really mastered that art.”
