WATCH: The First ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ Trailer Is Here

Alas, it’s time to return to the wizarding world.

The first teaser for the Harry Potter spinoff, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, is here. Eddie Redmayne stars as Newt Scamander, the author of Harry Potter’s textbook (of the same name) which details all the magical creatures in the wizarding universe.

Fans can expect a couple of differences between Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts: for one, Fantastic Beasts takes place in New York. For another, the year is 1926. According to the plot:

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident… were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was first released as a book in 2001J. K. Rowling published it under the pseudonym of the fictitious author Newt Scamander.

The film, scripted by Rowling herself and directed David Yates, who helmed four of eight Potter flicks, is set to be released Nov. 18, 2016.
