Former ‘SNL’ Cast Member Colin Quinn Called Tina Fey ‘The C-Word’

Sexy ‘Sisters’ in Black Dresses
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, were chic in little black dresses on the red carpet.

30 Rock fans may remember the season one episode in which Tina Fey’s television alter ego, Liz Lemon, reacts vehemently to being called “the c-word” by one of her writers.

Fey has long-since admitted that the episode was inspired by true events, but only recently revealed that it was Colin Quinn who did it.

The 45-year-old former head writer for Saturday Night Live shared this story on The Howard Stern Show while on a promotional tour for her new comedy, Sisters.

As Tina explains it:

I love him so much. I was trying to help him with a show that he was working on, and I think his anxiety about the writing of the show spilled over. It was very random. I was like, ‘What?!’ He left me a message and he said that.

However, both Tina and Colin clarify that they have since made amends, with Quinn apologizing for his use of the misogynist slur.
