2015 in Television: 25 Shows We Said Goodbye to This Year
Nothing gold can stay.
It’s never the right time to say goodbye to your favorite TV show, unless the ratings are low and the network isn’t making any money. This year we reluctantly bid adieu to Mad Men’s Draper family and commended TLC for (temporarily) shutting down the Duggar circus amid sexual abuse scandal. There came a late night revolution. David Letterman departed from The Late Show and Stephen Colbert signed on, while John Stewart passed his Daily Show torch to newcomer Trevor Noah. Duds like Selfie flew and flopped, but we commend them for trying to rise to the occasion in the first place.
